The Role
Enjoyable
Colleagues were always very appreciative of work done for them, and always asking me to help, so yes I felt valued.
Had no problem getting help from my manager whenever I needed it/ other people in the office helped me to find work I was interested in.
Was busy almost every day, just had the occasional off day when I was waiting for more work.
I was given alot more responsibilty than I expected. I thought I would just be doing mediocre tasks to keep me busy but I was actually contributing a lot to projects.
Improved work ethic, but have definitely found that things are learnt in way too much detail at university.
The Company
Really freindly, welcoming and young office
Good induction week, was introduced to alot of people, always had people I could ask if I had any problems
No formal training, more on-the-job training which is what I expected
Company Parties/Events
Only on a summer internship with them, would have a better idea of this after a year in industry
The Culture
Lots of other summer students/ year in industry students/ graduates that were out on socials every week
Depends where you go, most places are more expensive than during uni term time
yes
Not sure what this is referring to, Socials - yes
