About You
I found it very interesting and learnt a lot about the conpany through the activities we took part in.
All staff were extremely friendly and helpful and talked with us throughout the day about their studies and careers.
A lot of help from staff on what was happening and how to do the tasks that were being carried out.
Gave a first hand experience of the job and school leavers programme which influenced my decision to complete an application and continue with this career path.
The Company
Everything was pre planned and schedule went as planned according to time.
At times there was a lot to listen to but this was the fundamental part to listen to staff on their journeys and how to apply. However, this did not spoil the atmosphere too much as we could engage with our group and work together.
Helped a lot in how to write a good application as well as techniques that could be used in future presentations.
Did not see much of a working career as we were in a room for the whole day. But it did seem relaxed and fun for the staff who were with us.
The company's values were the focus on nearly everything as these are needed to be considered for a BDO application.
Overall it made clear my decision to apply for a school leavers programme as I was intrigued by the prospects.
Everything Else
Travelled by train.
We were constantly in contact with employees when undertaking activities and also had a chance to network woth employees at lunch and after the insight day was completed.
A lot of opportunities.
Staff get together often and also go on yearly trips such as the latest being an Alton Towers day out.
Great chance to remove any doubts or a chance to see if a career in this path is your cup of tea or not.
