The Role
It is very enjoyable and relaxing. My manager, mentor and other colleagues are friendly and helpful, thus I don't feel much struggling.
The entire office is very friendly. Unfortunately in Edinburgh office there are not so many interns and we did not have many activities.
My manager and mentor are patient, and they gave clear instructions for my work and necessary help when I asked.
There is always work to keep me busy, but I felt I could handle, so not too busy.
I guess it's because I have not a lot of coding experience, I spent a week or two studying. Still I managed to finish a few projects, and the last one plots really nice graphs!
I have learnt far too much, and I am grateful for that. I have learnt the basics of several coding languages, and my proficiency in some of them improved significantly. I have also learnt a lot about how the company's system works, which is a bit more specific but nonetheless very insightful.
The Company
Everyone is friendly and people are joking occasionally. The office is quiet when some deadline is near, and unfortunately it happened when I joined, so there were some silent days when everyone staring at the screen all day long.
I feel pretty satisfied about my learning and training, and I am happy to eventually contribute to the company by completing several projects.
I feel the company really put a lot of effort in engaging us interns. Our managers and mentors taught us a lot, and we were given some of the best computers and screens.

Company Parties/Events
I really enjoy the working environment, and likely I would get a job in the future.
The Culture
It seemed so
We got a subsidized company house which was very cheap and far too big for two of us interns.
I don't really go out much, but I heard the Edinburgh Festival in August is awesome
The office is pretty small with ~40 people, no much group activities. Still we went drinking occasionally to celebrate new joiners, new marriages, etc.
