The Role
It has been thoroughly enjoyable.
Although as a Summer Analyst you don't have the training to perform advanced analysis, I was given tasks that added value to the team and this was recognised.
My manager was very supportive giving me interesting and structured projects over the course of the 10 weeks.
Busy all the time with tasks for different members of the team
Given that I did not have the graduate training I felt I was given as much responsability as possible/appropriate.
Both the soft and hard skills I have acquired over my time at Citi will benefit me hugely in terms of tackling my degree and progressing professionally.
The Company
Fairly quiet but that suits some people!
Very well set up with speaker-series and networking events. Really great preparation for the business environment.
They invested time training technically and also stimulating debate about important aspects of business culture such as diversity.
Subsidised Canteen
Subsidised/Company Gym
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
Very appealing, they have structured graduate schemes across all the divisions and there are opportunities at different stages to swith between these divisions.
The Culture
I have made many good friends.
Canary Wharf and Central London is not too cheap.
There are good options every night of the week if you are so inclined.
There are a broad selection of networks and different societies to join out of the office.
