About You
Well organised and executed day, very enjoyable
Only there for a day, however, we were treated extremely well. Travel expenses were reimbursed. Lunch and complementary wine afterwards was provided.
Opportunity to network with other students and employees (although all were relatively junior). Questions were really well received and answered. All employees were extremely friendly.
Valuable insight into what it would be like to work in that environment. Provided motivation to work hard.
The Company
Very well planned and well executed.
Extremely positive. Very relaxed and often informal, although a formal tone was retained throughout.
Only there for a day. Travel and lunch were provided though.
Able to gain a good impression, the structure of the company were explained pretty clearly. Obviously we would have learnt more if we were there for longer.
Although we were only there for one day the attitude of the staff, organisation of the event and our general treatment meant we were able to learn a lot.
The industry and company were explained well.
Everything Else
Reimbursed up to £35 train fare.
Able to spend large parts of the day networking and asking question both informally and at a formal Q&A. All employees were relatively junior though.
Lots of opportunity for networking, however, all the employees were quite junior.
Yes, through networking.
Interesting day, which allowed me to learn a lot about the company and the wider industry. Only downside was that employees were pretty junior, however, it was only a one day insight.
