The Role
It was an amazing experience with guidance and support every step of the way
Everyone was so accommodating and supportive and they valued any ideas of mine
The support was so good, i was never left to struggle on. From day 1 it was made known that help was always available
There is a set structure of the internship programme as well as a project to complete. So there was plenty to get on with, i was never sat bored.
Surprisingly, i was given a lot of responsibility, really getting to use the systems and attend to customers as well.
Unfortunately it didnt build upon any of the analytical/logical skills im building at uni but it was great for developing confidence which i f Guess is key for any future path
The Company
I had great fun in the branch as there was a wide variety of individuals and personalities, but sometimes it did lead to clashes
Very well organised and great communication
They definitely invest a lot, it isnt just an internship, but hsbc want you to remain part of their community after that
Hsbc is a global organisation with countless opportunities and jobs... So appealing
The Culture
Did not have frequent socials
London is expensive so it is expected
Nightlife in London is too good
Opportunities to get involved with charity work this was with the graduate team
