The Role
I believe I have made a good choice and taht I have found a division within the bank that best suits my skills, knowledge and personality so I felt very comfortable and hence I really enjoyed my internship.
All my colleagues were very supportive and they really valued all the tasks I carried out for them and I felt that my work and time was helpful and valued.
My manager is very supportive thoughout teh procees. He is giving me advices on how to improve my skills and which skills to acquire to succeed in the job.
As time was passing and as my knowledge and comfort to do certain tasks was growing, I am getting busier and busier but the life-work relation is still very balanced and still, all the work is being done on time.
As above, as time was passing and as my knowledge and comfort to do certain tasks was growing I was given more an more responsabilities, and already halfway through my internship, I was holding weekly credit review meetings to my team!
I cannot really say as I am finsihing University soon, but without any doubt I have learned a lot as I feel more comfortable with certain terms, models, processes as I have seem (done) them also in practice.
The Company
There were very busy days when everyone in the office had a lot to do in a limited time but still, they were all very professional and were carrying ut all their work without stress in a very nice and quiet atmosphere. Aside from that, they are all very fun and love to make jokes thughout the day.
The HR department and all the others that have coordinated the intern program did an excellent job as I was able to get all the information immediately, they were very approachable and helpful.
I still cannot say the final outcome as I am still left with 2 weeks until the end but as I have been told and as far as I can see form other peoples experiences, there definitely are prospects for young graduates.
The Culture
Definitely! The interns were from all over the world, so the environemnt was very exciting and they were all ver happy to go out after work and to meet the interns from otehr divisions as well.
It depends where you go and how often, but our intern salaries were more than enough to cover all the costs.
The area mostly has restaurants and bars which is personally my favorite type of places to go out.
