The Role
Really enjoyed the placement was a really great experience which I would definitely do again.
Everyone was really friendly, and even though sometimes I didn't feel as though I was really helping they were quick to correct me.
People I was working with were really helpful and approachable.
Always had tasks to complete and I was never given anything which wasn't properly explained first.
I was given a lot more responsibility than I expected. I interacted a lot more with clients than I thought and often worked independently.
I did a lot of presentations which I've never had experience of before and I think this is something that will help me in the future.
The Company
Everyone had a 'hot desk' so you were always sitting with different people and everyone was really friendly.
Really well organised somoene always got in touch with me first to arrange travel to clients.
Spent a week in Birmingham to begin with training which was good,
National Travel
Company Parties/Events
Ended the internship with a partner interview and presentation. They were clear from the start there could be a job opportunity, Fingers crossed.
The Culture
During the trsaining week all the interns went out together, and when we went to London at the end of the placement. Less so with people from work.
Manchester is a great night out.
Some interns went to a football championship and played golf together.
