  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Really enjoyed the placement was a really great experience which I would definitely do again.

  • Everyone was really friendly, and even though sometimes I didn't feel as though I was really helping they were quick to correct me.

  • People I was working with were really helpful and approachable.

  • Always had tasks to complete and I was never given anything which wasn't properly explained first.

  • I was given a lot more responsibility than I expected. I interacted a lot more with clients than I thought and often worked independently.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I did a lot of presentations which I've never had experience of before and I think this is something that will help me in the future.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Everyone had a 'hot desk' so you were always sitting with different people and everyone was really friendly.

  • Really well organised somoene always got in touch with me first to arrange travel to clients.

  • Spent a week in Birmingham to begin with training which was good,

  • Ended the internship with a partner interview and presentation. They were clear from the start there could be a job opportunity, Fingers crossed.

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • During the trsaining week all the interns went out together, and when we went to London at the end of the placement. Less so with people from work.

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • Manchester is a great night out.

  • Some interns went to a football championship and played golf together.
