The Role
Everyone in the firm is really friendly. When you were out at a client, you were definitely valued as a full part of the team.
Everyone was always willing to give support and guidance and understood the position you were in as most of them had joined BDO within the last few years.
Sometimes there wasn't much to do in the office so it was a bit boring but on the whole, there was plenty to do especially when out at clients.
Not fully trained so could not have much responsibility but I felt I was given as much as they possibly could.
It will definitely help me if I choose to become an accountant
The Company
Often most people are out at clients so sometimes the atmospher can be a bit dead but everyone who is in is always friendly
They put a lot of effort into the organisation
We had a whole week of training in the first week of the internship before work began.
