The Role
I've been really interested in the work that I've been asked to do and really felt welcome in the office.
I really felt like the work that I did was apppreciated and was genuinely helping the company.
I was assigned a buddy, which was an excellent system put in place to ensure that I had someone I could turn to with any questions, who had recently joined the company so knew how I felt.
I had an appropriate workload and was always kept busy. I never felt like too much was being asked of me either.
I worked on many calculations and other pieces of work for real clients, and was given a lot of responsibility in this way. I also had responsibilities around the office, such as organising food for meetings.
I will be definitely be able to tranfer skills I have learnt to any future job, such as confidence and good communication.
The Company
Everyone was really friendly and easy to talk to.
I felt like interns were really appreciated and the system was organised well so that we were integrated into the office.
I was given 2 days of training before I started work in the office, and then more throughout the internship.
I think I've demonstrated that I have the necessary skills to continue working for the company.
The Culture
Almost every friday, someone would organise a social event for after work.
London prices are pretty expensive, but that comes with the job!
Plenty of bars and pubs around to choose from.
Lots of social opportunities came up during my time here.
