The Role
This job wss sometimes extremely busy and very quiet at other times and required me to be very proactive with managing my workload. it has a wide range of experiences and you have the opportunity to get involved with whatever you find interesting really
The team is very friendly and social and is a real mix of people. ALthough i had some really good friends, as with any office, there were people i liked less. However everybody was always friendly and helpful.
As mentioned earlier, you need to be very proactive as the managers are not always available and you need to show initiative and get on with your own work. However, my managers were very supportive in regards to my development and really tried to help me with my future career
satisfied- not too much, not too little. plenty to get on with
With regards to the policy side of the role, I was responsible for researching new legislation and my advice on changes had to be trusted- it was not checked!
The Company
very interesting with plenty going on
I wasn't offered a lot of external training
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
National Travel
International Travel
Company Parties/Events
Above 25 days holiday
Got my placement job back a month after finishing uni!
The Culture
fairly- I wasn't too interested in being social outside of work with them so didn't really arrange anything
stayed in my home town
