About You
The day had a variety of activities to make the day fun and interesting.
All of the staff wanted to make the day a valuable experience for me and valued my input in all activities.
I received lots of careers guidance and was able to speak directly to staff in different areas of the business. Staff also helped during activities.
The activities enabled me to practice my presentation skills and team working skills in a relaxed atmosphere. The information I received was very valuable in choosing an area for me to do an internship in.
The Company
Due to illness of the day's leader there were some periods of long waiting but other than that it was good.
The atmosphere was relaxed which made in easy to ask questions and not be afraid to make mistakes during the activities.
As it just an insight day, I was not expecting any personal training or development.
I was able to speak directly to staff members from audit, corporate finance and tax which gave me a good understanding of the role.
It was useful in understanding the company culture and the day to day running of the business.
Very valuable- I felt the content I received from employees was real and unbiased due to the relaxed atmosphere. I was able to ask the questions I wanted to.
Everything Else
I was not reimbursed expenses but I was provided with a parking space in a secure car park.
There was opportunities through out the day and also in an informal setting at lunch time.
Not applicable for a one day insight.
Yes I was told by employees over lunch about football teams and quizes.
One of the best insights I have been to as there were not many people there so it was easy to get one to one time to speak to employees.
