The Role
I thoroughly enjoyed the internship.
Everyone in the office was very busy and really appreciated the work that I did as it eased their own workloads.
The internship was extremely well organised and structured and I was always able to help for support and guidance from any member of the team.
Although some days were definitely busier than others, there was never a day where I was bored or I had nothing to do.
I was not just asked to do menial tasks but was given a lot of responsibility straight away.
I developed many general skills over the six weeks which would help in any form of employment.
The Company
Really great atmosphere. Everyone was very welcoming and, although everyone worked hard, no one took themselves too seriously.
Fantastic organisation of the internship. I could tell that the team had spent time thinking about what tasks to give me so that I would be exposed to as many aspects of the business as possible.
Lots of training sessions. These were really useful to my own development.
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
I would certainly take a job if it is offered.
The Culture
I was one of two interns on my floor and we got on well. It was really nice to have someone going through the same process as me. The office was quite social as well, with several nights out organised.
London is quite expensive.
A collection of several bars and pubs in the area. The office was in the middle of London so nowhere was too far to go.
There was talk of organising a couple of sports teams but this did not happen by the time the internship had finished.
