The Role
I was treated as one of the team from the start
There was a buddy system but the success of that seemed to vary significantly by who the buddy was and how engaged/and busy they were
Average hours were 9-7, with a few late nights (midnight). Generally pretty good for consulting
Was given responsibility over descrete tasks with low levels of supervision
I came in with quite a lot of experience so I don't feel I learned too much.
The Company
A young and vibrant office. Good atmosphere
Generally very good. The last few weeks were very well organised, but the run-up was patchy
Two days of training at the begining, but consulting is not going to be learned in the classroom
Subsidised Canteen
International Travel
Company Parties/Events
Offer process is opaque but keen to work for them
The Culture
Interns were a very bright and social bunch
High - central London
Decent places around for drinks
There were formal meetings planned for the interns and a couple of social activities planned
