The Role
Very much as it is interesting and challenging
We ate lunch together out in Harrow; went to the pub and had drinks in the evening.
One-to-one whenever I wanted, my manager always made time to answer any questions I had and he helped me a great deal with collecting the data I needed for my Uni report.
Some days were very busy, others were quieter. Generally a good balance.
A lot. Apart from weekly or monthly duties, I was responsible for projects that would result in something used by the finance, sales and marketing departments.
Time management and organisation of work will help me a lot in my final year, as well as a better understanding of finance in practice and the effects changes in the economy. There are many skills I gained that I wouldn't have gained at Uni.
The Company
During mini breaks there would be a lot of messing around!
Very well, I was contacted often and monthly calls were in place to ensure that the interns were happy
A number of official external training courses (presentation skills, influencing skills etc) as well as internal courses and online training.
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
I would seriously consider the Financial Management graduate program that GE offer
The Culture
Definitely, we went out to places often, dinners, bowling, house parties...
It's not central London, so its not so bad
We wouldn't go out in Harrow
There were a number yes.
