The Role
I did not know what to expect of a Finance role, but I found it to be an excellent experience
Given complex and interesting analytical tasks and my input was always appreciated. I always felt as if my work has an impact.
My manager was always there for me, having a weekly one-on-one to discuss my priorities, difficulties and needs.
Each day was different, but it was my own choice how I filled my time. I never felt pressured or persuaded to work outside the normal working hours.
I was not running the show but the show would not run without me. I was an important element of my team, assisting people from my manager to the director and vice president.
Developed excellent analytical abilities, the confidence to tackle unknown tasks and network with senior leaders. I have also developed my work ethic in a corporate environment.
The Company
Serious colleagues but always approachable and with a smile on their face.
Great events planned throughout the year.
Wide variety of online resources provided and training during the induction period.
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
Working from home
Healthcare from home
Everyone has their chance to prove themselves. If you want to excel and succeed this is the place to do it. Your progress will be measured , cherished and rewarded.
The Culture
Great social context, interns became friends and colleagues became lifetime connections.
London Victoria is not the cheapest place to go out but it was decent. Good connections to the rest of London.
Not much Nighlife to be honest.
Quite a lot of corporate events circulated via email. It all depends on you to get involved.
