    About You

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • It was great meeting staff members of the BoE, getting your questions answered and getting to know more about the bank. Also, other participants were all very nice and lovely to talk to.

    • Everyone was very friendly and showed interest in you and your concerns.

    • It hellped me to realise what options I have within the bank and how I could achieve my aim to geta job with the BoE.

    The Company

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?

    • It was a well organised event; however, during the panel discussion some participants did not show up so the same people that I was speaking to earlier were on the panel. It would have been great to see new faces too.

    • The atmosphere was friendly and relaxing.

    • It clearly showed what one could expect while working for the BoE.

    • Nothing can better help you understand the culture as speaking to the people who work there.

    • I already knew where I want to go and why it is the Bank of England. The insight day made the feeling even stronger.

  • 11. Were you paid or reimbursed adequately for this experience?

    • Still due to fill out the expenses form :)

  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?

    • There weren't anyone from the department I was interested to the most, but all other empoyees helped me a lot too.

    • Very good, you just need to approach them and ask whatever interests you.

    • Everything that was asked got answered.
