The Role
I really enjoyed it, the work was interesting and challenging and the people were friendly
Everyone was easy to talk to and helpful
No one was ever too busy to help me out when I needed it
I was rarely bored and was given enough personal goals that I always had something to do
I had my own project and unless I required help I was mainly left to get on with it
I have gained useful skills and insight that will help me a lot in the future
The Company
A really friendly atmosphere, everyone was easy to talk to and I settled in quickly
Everything ran smoothly for me, once I knew I had a place my accomodation was sorted for me and I didn't have any problems while I was there
I had a personal development plan and when I turned up I had very little experience programming, so a lot of time, esspecially early on was spent learning to programme. I also had a weekly meeting with my manager to discuss my progress and my plans for the following week.
Flexi Time
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
I'll definitely be applying for a job at Metaswitch in the future
The Culture
I think there is a good social scene at the main office, but I was based a a smaller office and generally less happened
It's pretty cheap, <£3 for a pint and food was never overly expensive
Not sure
Again, I think they're was more going on at the main office but less where I was
