The Role
It was great. Wonderful working environment with great facilities. I loved how intelligent everyone was and the hype of the trading floor. I also loved getting to know the other interns who were so friendly and hard working.
I felt valued by them and was happy to be given the opportunity to add value to the desk.
HR was very supportive in everything that we did. They constantly reminded us about upcoming talks and were very detailed in providing us feedback. My supervisor was also very helpful with his feedback. I also had other mentors who were very supportive.
I was busy every day and it was good to be constantly productive. Every time I finished a project, I would be given a new one to work on.
I was given quite a lot of responsibility and mostly covered admin tasks because I did not have the required license to do other things.
I felt like I would do well in the next finance classes that I intend to take.
The Company
It was very well organised.
Company Parties/Events
Healthcare from home
Very appealing.
The Culture
Canteen food was subsidized which was great and affordable.
The nightlife was awesome. We had discounts because of the company and there was even a jazz concert one of the friday nights.
We would always have intern events and social networking events to go to. A couple of interns and I also travelled together over the weekends.
