The Role
Different from being on-site as my previous experience, but good to understand the office environment.
Invited on every occassion for drinks and food
Open door plicy was good to speak freely when I needed to for advice etc.
I was kept fairly busy, but this is also up to the person and their own work pace
Givien enough responsibility for my duration and position within the company
good contacts, understanding of professionalism
The Company
Not stressful and could have a laugh without worry
Due to the project I was working on and stage within the project. Hard to organise pre employment. Tasks given on a week to week basis
Internal training opportunities promoted to myslef. Graduate training one of the best companies for this discipline.
Company Parties/Events
if you make a good impression as I did on whatever work is given to you, your employer will know you are a team contributor no matter what the work involves to get the overall goal complete.
The Culture
Went out for drinks when all summer students got together for presentation day.
Expensive, centre of london.
I stayed out of london but the few nights I did go out, was brilliant!
Not offered to me within the 8 weeks I was there.
