The Role
Great working environment. During the period of my internship I had the chance to meet great people. Also the internship allowed me to deepen my technical knowledge while it also introduced me to the financial sector.
I felt as part of the team quite fast. My decisions and opinions were respected from every member of the team.
Whenever I had any problems or issues I could ask my manager, a teammate, a colleague or even a desk neighbor and I was never refused any help.
My work was perfectly balanced for a normal working day. Hence I had the chance to spend couple of hours after work to do some additional work or work on something else I was interested in.
I was given a lot of freedom on the project I was working.
During my internship I had chance to develop good organization and networking skills from which I believe I would benefit for life.
The Company
My floor had the perfect ratio of noisy and quite. I could always talk with people when required without interfering with other people's work.
I had no problems at all.
More than I was expecting but as always a little more could have be done. However, for me it was more than enough.
Subsidised Canteen
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Tempting.
The Culture
I plan to continue my relationship with most of the people I met during the internship.
Average for London.
London has one of the best Nightlife in Europe and even in the world.
Yes, both company and community organized.
