The Role
The hours were tough and the workload was sometimes overwhelming but I learnt a lot.
When working for some people I felt that I was valued and appreciated but I experienced the exact opposite with other seniors.
I feel that sometimes support and guidance was given too late.
Days seemed to vary between being too busy, and therefore too long, and being too quiet. I rarely had a day that I considered to be a perfect balance.
I feel that as the weeks progressed I was given more responsibility and was trusted to do more work independently. However, obviously as an intern, there is only so much responsibility you can have.
I feel that I developed a lot of valuable skills during my internship that will help me throughout the rest of my degree and in whatever career I choose.
The Company
Subsidised Canteen
Subsidised/Company Gym
I do not feel that I am well suited to the department that I am interning in and therefore need to reasses what I want to do as a career before I can evaluate my employment prospects with any organisation.
The Culture
Everyone was really friendly and we arranged some nice events together.
Expensive!
I do not think Canary Wharf is known for its nightligfe...
