The Role
Good internship, treated as part of the team
Of course there is a difference between the colleagues and interns, but especially at the junior level everyone is very supportive
Guidance mainly from other analysts, not any higher roles
It's investment banking, it will always be busy
Not much at the beginning, but progressed further towards the end, also stepping in to the void as Analysts leave on holiday
Will not help my degree (but almost surely job prospects)
The Company
Super fun team
Good organisation, including several intern and networking events
A week of training, which however could have been more focused and covered more areas
Not yet determined
The Culture
Social scene great at the beginning (training), however afterwards fairly non-existent in IBD given the hours, apart from weekends
Central London & the City, shouldn't be expected to be cheap
London
Volunteering opportunities, but otherwise no given the working hours
