The Role
The start of the placement was very well organised giving us the opportunity to get to know other interns before being intergrated into our different offices
The office I was working in was a very friendly environment
Everyone in the department was happy to sit down and go through any problems I had with work I was given
Most days I had a good amount of work to do, on others I didnt quite had enough.
As my internship progressed I was given more resplonsability and client contact
My degree is unreltaed but I have learnt a lot that will benefit me in any future career
The Company
The office was very relaxed and had a good atmosphere
The start of the internship was extremely well organised, the time spent in the office depended on the line manager we had, I was very fortunate and mine organised my placement well. The process of graduate shceme offers at the end was very unorganised and many of us didn't know what it was.
We had a training day at the start which was very helpful, but that was our only training.
We have been told we will find out within a month of us finishing whther we have been accepted to the graduate scheme
The Culture
There were a few events with the inters but these were organised by the interns as oppose to someone within the company organising events for us.
It was in central london so would expect it to be expensive. The staff in my department made sure I knew the cheap places to eat and drink around the office
It is in Liverpool street so there is a very lively after work scene
There were if you looked for them, i was only there for 9 weeks so didn't
