The Role
I can go to any member of staff and all are willing to help no matter how big or small, Also not treated as a placement student just another part of the team
On hand whenever I need help with anything, this extends all the way through to the directors of the company and other managers
Always something to do, never sitting waiting for things to happen
Given the chance to build my own desk and business relationships with both clients and candidates.
I have developed both my phone manner and learnt how to conduct myself when meeting people face to face as well as my organisational skills and time keeping
The Company
Great atmosphere in the office with a real mix of people including other placement students and recent graduates.
Formal training to start of and then the chance to put this into practice and build on this with on the job training, alongside formal training lasting for around 3 months all of which is relivant and tailored to the job role .
I was given exactly the same training that a normal consultant would be given regardsless of the fact I am only there intailly for the year.
Subsidised/Company Gym
National Travel
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
The Culture
All treated as members of staff rather than placement students so you don't really notice who is a student
I was living at home during my placement so fairly cheap
Good nightlife with a number of pubs, bars and clubs around if you want to go out for a drink after work.
