The Role
Really enjoyed it, team always kept me engaged and busy - I learnt so much about the role, and the company. Furthermore, feel experienced in Commercial, and would definitely have a head start should I return to a similar role.
My Line Manager and Buddy were great with me ! Introduced me to the rest of the team, got invited out, and generally got along with everyone.
Saw my Line Manager daily, arranged things to do in order to tick everything that I wanted to achieve off my Internship list.
At times really busy, at times nothing. But I would put that down to the nature of the business.
As I was mostly shadowing, not the most. Had a few projects that I did by myself, and got to present, but mostly I did tasks assigned by my team.
Skills for Life - the experience is great, got stuck right in, and actually learnt so much about the company and the role, that I could defintely take elsewhere.
The Company
Always busy, people always moving around, always communicating with each other!
It was good that i always seemed to have something on, and the fact I had a project to get on with assigned by them, that was great, and a great task to do.
Put us on a Development Day and treated us like we were 16 years old, made us play games like Noughts and Crosses, and generally the worst day of the Internship.
Subsidised Canteen
Almost got a job - just need to be confirmed !
The Culture
All the Interns were well up for going out, especially as loads had moved down to London for the job !
I lived at home, and got cheap rail.
Cheshunt is a dive, but with London only 20 minutes away, really can't complain. Good local cheap pubs outside the Office,.
With the Graduate Scheme Students, they were always organising different activities, at least once a week.
