The Role
The placement was very enjoyable. A really exciting experiences.
My colleaggues constantly asked for my opinion and showed appreciation towards my opinions.
My manager was brilliant. He opened me up to a number of opportunities and was always there to guide me when needed.
My daily life was fairly busy, as I only had 10 weeks to carry out and deliver a major project.
I was given a project to work on autonomously so recieved a huge deal of responsibility.
I have graduated, however, the skills developed and training recieved has helped my personal development considerably. I am much more confident and less reluctant to approaching senior colleagues.
The Company
The office had a very relaxed atmosphere and everyone was very welcoming.
My manager had set out objectives for me prior to my arrival. There was clear direction and a very clear timetable.
I trialled out a concept which is due to be implemented once further trials have been completed. My outcomes portrayed were shared with the customer service director for British Gas Enterprise, who was very impressed and agrees with the direction of the trial.
It would be wonderful to be given an opportunity to work for a company who is willing to give me opportunities to achieve my full potential.
The Culture
I did not have anyone with me in Leicester as the one colleague that was initially based with me dropped out.
Cost was fairly average.
I do not really go out in the evenings apart from for meals which were great.
No opportunities as the team I am in are very busy.
