The Role
An incredibly insight experience with lots of accountability. Enjoyable and stretching allowing for a lot of personal development and learning.
Both immediate team and wider network of employees were very supportive and willing to help.
Line Manager was simply brilliant. Always willing to answer questions and offer advice with projects. Was a personable manager on both a professional and personal level.
Incredibly busy. Took a little too much on, but it was my own fault for not gauging scope of everything before agreeing to it.
A lot of responsibility and autonomy with projects. Had complete ownership.
Business acumen and understanding flourished. As well as softer skills from working in an experienced team.
The Company
A good mix of quiet work time and casual conversation. Some very high and fun moments during my course of the internship.
Good organisation, team was prepared for my arrival. IT prep could have been better.
Had the freedom to join as much personal development as the firm would offer to a normal employee. Took advantage of multiple opportunities.
Subsidised Canteen
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Very appealing prospects, but unsure to whether the company wants to take me back as of yet!
The Culture
A pretty strong community, but weekends sometimes a bit lacklustre. Lots of local people at the accommodation so many went home or did personal things during free time.
Windsor is relatively expensive which did limit the opportunities to some extent.
Had to head out field to Windsor for nightlife, only pubs were local.
Lots of extra activities available, from charity initiatives to sports and team events.
