The Role
Had a great work life balance, felt thoroughly valued by my team and the company and really had a great time. One of the best experiences of my life.
Colleague gave me great continuous feedback and took a real interest in my work. My work was having a huge impact on the team and they really appreciated that.
My management gave me great support particularly in development areas. They were also very good at redirecting me to find support in technical areas where they could not provide it.
Had enough projects to keep me focussed and working throughout the day but not so much that I was having to take work home.
I was given a huge amount of responsibility. I was trusted with access to a large amount of confidential information and was given projects which would massively effect the way in which the team worked.
I have developed hugely over my 10 week placement. I have gained a vast wealth of personal skills which will improve the way that I work for the rest of my life.
The Company
Had some brilliant characters in my team. Very open communication which made it very quick to form friendships at work and become comfortable with the people around me.
Very well organised. There were a few areas where information could have been made clearer or elaborated upon. But generally there was enough information to stay in the loop.
Was given the opportunity to do lots of training and development activities such as Excel training, Teambuilding, Health and Safety, Presentations. Networking events were organised for us and I was given the chance to facilitate an assessment centre.

Centrica is now my priority for future employment. I wan't nothing more right now than to gain a place on their graduate programme.
The Culture
40 of us lived together in student halls and spent a huge amount of time together and became a close group of friends. We have been to Thorpe Park, Bowling, Cinema, Mini-Golf, Clubs/Bars, Meals, etc.
Windsor is quite an affluent part of the country so the cost of living was quite high. However, accomodation was paid for so this helped with shouldering the burden.
Windsor and its surrounding areas are not the epitomy of a great night out.
Lots of outside of work activities. People got involved with choirs, sports teams, zumba, kayaking, etc. just to name a few
