The Role
Really interesting company & great opportunities to see different parts of the organisation.
Every day treated as part of the team. I was given responsibility and everyone I met spared time to explain things and to see how I was getting on. Taken for meals by colleagues and involved in all team activities such as the sports day!
Plenty, help was on hand whenever I needed it!
Almost everyday I had plenty to get on with.
Given a lot of accountability for my own projects, even giving presentations and leading discussions with FDs on my work / findings
Huge amount learnt, from understanding of finance to systems experience to developing personal skills further. Well worth the time!
The Company
Open plan, friendly, not completely silent.
My manager had prepared good projects for me to work on. Trips were arranged to other offices and sites. The graduate team organised talks, activity days, development days and arranged all the accommodation and equipment distribution. Really well organised!
The company invested a lot of time and money in training, including transporting all interns from all over the country to attend events. I attended a finance training programme and expenses are paid for visiting sites across the country.

The grad scheme is great! A lot more varied than 90% of others I have looked into. The organisation is strong, reputable and has a great working environment. I would happily come back.
The Culture
Could not have been better! Based in the south, we had a courtyard of student accommodation and Windsor / London near by, there was always something to do, every night of the week even!
Expensive compared with Midlands / North but reasonable, depends where specifically you are.
Windsor isn't too bad, London is a fair train journey and expensive but the area is pleasant and there are plenty of local bars which are good.
Always something to do including; charity events, social, work outings and trips to other sites
