The Role
It was a fantastic experience!
We ate together every day and even exchanged tea we were drinking!
1 to 1 feedback session, everyday checks, regular catch-ups, code reviews.... Red Gate has it all!
I had lots of freedom, which meant that I had lots of control over my schedule to achieve the perfect balance.
I was programming the whole module, from technical details, to the very tip that reaches the customers.
The skills and experience acquired are invaluable to my future life.
The Company
We even had Nerf Gun wars in office!
Very well set up - prompt responses and very structured approach.
They even bought me books and payed for my cinema tickets!
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
Working from home
We shall see, but the intern-employee conversion ratio seems to be very good!
The Culture
We even lived together and dined out together!
I could afford any socialising I wanted.
For a software engineer? Night-time coding, for the win! But don't worry, there are some good clubs around, too!
Whatever I thought of getting involved in, I did.
