The Role
It was a really enjoyable and varied placement with lots of different opportunities
I quickly settled in and my team were really welcoming.
I had regular meetings with my line manager and was assigned a buddy who really helped me out
It came in waves, sometimes I was really busy other times I had to wait for people to get back to me but overall it was a good balance
I was given a really good project and with real responsibility which was great as I felt like I was actually helping my team.
I learnt loads of valuable skills which will definitely help me at uni but more importantly in the world of work.
The Company
Sometimes it was really busy with lots of people hot desking which meant there were lots of different people to meet. Other times it was really nice and laid back.
I thought the organisation was really good, the programme seemed really well structured.
They really encourage personal development and invested a lot of money in me attending training sessions or visiting different sites. I was very impressed.
