The Role
I didn't really enjoy it for the majority of the placement. The woman instructed to manage me was very lovely and nearly all the highlihts were when I was made to travel and got to see her.
Wasn't sat with my team.
Due to not being with the team it was hard to feel supported but my boss did her best to make sure I knew what was goung on and was very understanding if I didn't
A lot of the time I had nothing at all to do.
When I had a piece of work I felt as though I had responsibility. Furthermore, I was allowed to sit with two other teams and that required discretion.
Office skills were useful but a lot of the skills I had already learned. A lot of the information was very specific to the role of the team.
The Company
Barely knew anybody.
I found the whole thing very badly organised. It took a long time to learn the placement and then the communication was poor.
The programme itself is very good on a CV
Flexi Time
National Travel
It would depend on what else I experienced from now. I would not want to work the job I had in my internship.
The Culture
I wasn't with my team or any other interns. I ate lunch by myself every day I wasn't travelling whilst other offices were very social and many people lived together.
Did not socialise.
Unknown, did not socialise at work. I guess the area would be good though.
Charity challenge (although also with this none of the team were in my office.)
