  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • From day one, all colleagues included me, made me feel part of the team and really got to know me. It will be a great shame to have to leave these people!

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • At any time, I was able to organise development meetings and catch ups with my line manager. Other members of the team were also always happy to give help and advice wherever necessary.

    5/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • As with any business, some times are busier than others, but no matter what the workload, you are always given support. You can always tailor the workload to suit a good balance and all colleagues are supportive of this.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • At Lloyds, you are given real business and value added tasks to complete which have a direct impact on the running of the business area you are in. This gives a great sense of well being, personal fulfillment and inclusion in the business.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I have personally learnt a great deal personally and about business whilst at Lloyds Banking Group. The skills learnt will help in all parts of life.

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • The atmosphere promoted hard work and dedication, but all members of the team were inclusive and there was no moment where I did not feel happy in the office.

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • Everything was organised to perfection, upon arrival I was presented with a laptop and phone for use and the internship can be tailored to suit your development needs, showing how colleague focussed the group is, something that really stood out to me during the internship.

    5/5

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • A lot of time and effort is given to development and this is a great factor in driving talent forwards. You can use the learning portal to further develop skills in all areas and with the development meetings with you line manager, you can take full control of your own development to move forwards.
