The Role
Some of the matter was a little boring but that's probably the nature of the role
Really felt that they made me part of the team
Manager was unavailable often but given great support when available
Switched quite often between bored or too busy
A decent amount without feeling overwhelmed
The skills gained, Excel skills, networking, presentations, team work etc, were definite must-haves
The Company
Lively and welcoming
It was very easy to find out all of the information needed to organise the placement
A well-thought out personal development plan was set up from the beginning
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Subsidised/Company Gym
National Travel
Company Parties/Events
The graduate scheme is very highly regarded
The Culture
Lots of interns came together every day for lunch and often went out for meals/drinks
Travel was expensive (far commute) but Leeds is a very cheap place to work
Not my taste personally but a student favourite!
A reasonable amount, if you know where to look
