The Role
Thoroughly impressed by the support given. Weekly one to ones and mid and end placement reviews to manage performance and set expectations.
Varied. Mostly busy, but even when not working you can read up on other areas or make work for yourself.
Given a reasonable amount of responsibility. More towards the end of the internship as I had proved that I was not a liability.
Invaluable experience with customer and project management in banking.
The Company
Great organisation from HR and put into practice by line manager and colleagues.
No formal training but allowed to speak to people and read up on divisions and business areas outside the one I was working in.
Subsidised Canteen
Subsidised/Company Gym
National Travel
Company Parties/Events
Majority of interns are offered graduate jobs.
The Culture
Went out at least once a week.
Lived at home, but cheap anyway.
Northern city, plenty of things to do.
Cannot comment personally but there was opportunity for those interested.
