The Role
Extremely free and friendly environment, everyone is very welcoming so you slot into the "Intel way of life" immediately!!
Everyone is respected regardless of whether you are just a student or not. You become a crucial part of Intel and people will request things that you can do that no one else can do.
You get guided to a certain point and then you are on your own to work it out, which is something i like as work then becomes a challenge and you are given a chance to prove yourself, and to show your manager that you can cope with things without full guidance.
Depending on how many projects I am doing then it can vary from an extremely busy period to a slightly quieter period. Overall it is a nice balance. Much better than being always busy or never being busy
I have the freedom to take on my own projects and it is expected that you create your own projects to "give something back" to Intel and to show what you can do. Intel really do trust you and your abilities as i was given some great responsibilities such as organizing events on my own and managing the CEO meeting schedule!
My skills have developed at lot and i have learnt so much about myself. you learn to be independent in a work place and to be more pro-active about you role. You get into a good routine and have many opportunities to excel and develop your skills
The Company
Exciting, everyone is always so happy and always willing to help. there is always something going on in the office, people really do work hard and play hard
So good you forget you are an intern and you just get stuck in with the corporate environment
Any training you want to do is paid for by Intel. there is a wide range of things to choose from so you are never out of things to learn more about.

Its undecided, it depends if Intel are taking on people or not as to whether they want to offer you a place in the end
The Culture
plenty of students to socialize and get to know. Good intern environment.
paying only 215 per month for a 3 person house which leaves plenty of money to do whatever
could be better but you get used to it and the only club becomes your friend, the nightlife is what you make it...
there is evening school which people have joined to learn more about computers, or if you love the gym then there is free membership to the gym...
