The Role
Really enjoyed it, its a 'nice' bank, so you can get exposure to markets without the long hours and repression.
My colleagues made an effort to involve me and would field any questions I had.
I have learned an incredible amount from my manager. He helped introduct me to people across the bank and made a concious effort to help my development.
A good amount of busy, always things to be getting on with, but without intense time pressure.
I was given ownership on a few good projects, but did not get to meet any clients.
I learned a lot from working at Lloyds, it will definitely help me going forward in making career decisions.
The Company
It was subdued versus what I expected for a bank, which I quite liked.
Well organised, clear feedback etc.
We had talks across both products and coverage to really learn to understand the oppurtunities we would get if we joined the graduate scheme.
Subsidised/Company Gym
Above 25 days holiday
I have not yet had my final review to learn about whether I will get the job.
The Culture
Good social scene, but slow starting. Lloyds does not put on any social events for you which is a real shame.
London... Horrendous cost.
The city and beyond is always fun for nightlife.
Not really unfortunately.
