The Role
It was really good to get an insight into the business
Everyone was very friendly and welcoming, and happy to help out if needed
I could approach my manager at any point, and had weekly meetings to discuss how I was getting on
Generally had a lot to do, there was the odd occasion when I was waiting on someone for something and didn't have anything to do during that time
I was given a reasonable amount of responsibility with confidential documents
My main project was not at all to do with my degree, however I did learn valuable skills from it, and I was given the opportunity to do a few things which were realted to my degree
The Company
Everyone got on with their work, but people were normally chatting meaning the office wasn't silent which was nice
As we were the first interns this department has had there were a few things that were not very well organised, but on the whole it was okay
I had Web Ex training on my very first day, I was taught how to do everything I needed to on the Hub site, and I took part in a Sensory Awareness Course
Subsidised Canteen
I would very much like to join the Tesco graduate scheme after I have finished university next year
The Culture
There were quite a few nights out organised
Uncertain as I didn't really go out!
Again, didn't really go out so uncertain!
There was a pub quiz organised, however it had to be cancelled due to lack of interest
