The Role
I found the commute difficult as the days were long butthe job itself was extremely interesting
I was so lucky to be part of an amazing team who were very friendly and included me in everything
I had two line managers because one went away on Maternity leave, but both of them helped me with everything i asked for and I also got on very well with them both
Some days were comepletely full up with different taks and these were the best days others were quite quiet but there was also something to do
At the start of my placement i was not given much but as the team grew to turst me i felt valued as a part of the team and am now working on my own report that will be published
I will take everything i have learned in this placement into my future. The most important thing is the feel of a full day of work, i now know i can get up early every day and work till the evening.
The Company
Everyone works hard but we have jokes and a chat regularly
Everything was really easy to follow and everyone knew what they were talking about.
I know SO much more about the banking world than i would have ever learnt from a book, experience is the best way to understand something and in that sense i have developed enormously.
Subsidised Canteen
Subsidised/Company Gym
I would love to work with Lloyds banking Group, hopefully they would have me back!
The Culture
Lloyds Scholars regularaly set up events and the team invited me to drinks a few times also!
London is extremely expensive.
I commuted so rarely went out
There were quite a few ways in which one could get involved- including the charity challenge
