The Role
The area I was placed wasn't the most exciting but overall it was enjoyable.
Depending on which manager or team I was in this varied. The senior managers seemed to value me the most.
Had regular 1-2-1s with my manager to review my performance and feedback from different managers on how to improve.
Really depended on which team I was in but overall I was given a good amount of work to do.
All work was reviewed by managers before being submitted but the work I did do I did see being used for senior managers and clients.
Time management and how to act in a professional way were probably the two most valuable skills I learnt.
The Company
It was serious a lot of the time but also relaxed and we could talk.
Very well. I was rotated around my product area three times and the work was already planned and everybody knew when i was going to be with them,
They held detailed presentations and webinars on different areas of the commercial bank and how to development professionally.

Company Parties/Events
Good company. Great atmostphere compared to other major banks and it's in a good place to grow in the future.
The Culture
There was always an event at least once a week for interns and colleagues to go to.
Being in the city of london isn't cheap at all but some places weren't too extortionate.
In the area I worked it wasn't so great but across London it's really good.
In london there's always something to do.
