The Role
Very challenging & worthwhile assignments
Still keep in touch with team on a personal basis
Every step of the way until they felt I could do it without the guidance... by myself.. which took more trust than coaching me at every single point
For me Busy = Happy (Differs by differnt roles)
Dealing with external vendors of a complex technological development - and pitching to senior most management
Gave me the skills I needed to get selected onto possibly the best Grad scheme around
The Company
Varied between teams but on the whole a good atmosphere.
Generally the structure was very good but it was the first time my team had an intern - so a little slow to start but was great once we were rolling
Totalled into thousands of pounds worth of training - even gave me time to come back and certify for a qualification once I had left
Flexi Time
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
I have a job & I am back now
The Culture
Still in touch with students who have returned to GE as well as those that have not
Average - and a lot cheaper than London - unless we actually went into London
Good local nightlife with Central London only 20 mins by train
Football, Cricket, Charity events
