The Role
The job was amazing, just wonderful opportunity to meet interesting people, do interesting stuff and learn a lot.
My colleagues have always told me which were my capabilities and what I did good as well as what I could improve
My manager has always followed me if I needed help, but gave me also some responsibility.
The balance was great, I have never complained of having too much stuff, and in the spare time there is always something to read or a lesson to attend in the elarning platform
For the works that I was able to do on my own I was completely delegated, for more sensitive work I was followed, but my team has always trusted me
Skills for life definitely - relationships with colleagues at any extent in the hierarchy, soft skills, communication in particular, then leadership and London life.
The Company
My colleagues were amazing and working with the team meant never feel the pain
I had many shadowing opportunity and a lot of help if I was curious to have a special touch of an area of my choice in the bank
I had a massive learning. I feel that they are investing in my development.
It depends from the referral that your line manager can give or not
The Culture
Other students were pretty busy, networking is not too much boostered and it is mainly up to you.
It was very costly since is in London heart, but definitely worthy.
London is London. Tired of London, tired of life.
Gym, friends, socialization, readings, museums.. You do not really have time for all of them
