The Role
The internship was very enjoyable, I got to a range of diferent things which made it a really good experience!
I worked alongside my colleagues and I felt they valued me a lot. They were also such a nice bunch of lovely people which was great
Whenever I struggled on a task, managers and superviors always made time for me which was really nice
Some days I was very busy, and a few I was not given much to do. It was a nice balance though
On some projects I was given a lot of reponsibility, I was shocked at how much responisbility interns actaully get.
I learnt how to use several programming tools and also learnt how to speak to clients, presentation skills, and got to expand on my basic computer skills (excel, viso, etc) which will be great for the future
The Company
The atmosphere was amazing, the people really do make the company. Everyone is always smiling and makes you feel so welcome
The champions were amazing help and made sure we had the best experience, they put us on some amazing projects too
I think they invested in me quite a bit, for each project my manager filled out a feedback form to talk about ways I could develop
National Travel
Company Parties/Events
I have interviewed for a grad position, I do not know if i was succesful yet!
The Culture
The interns on my scheme were a lovely group of people. We got very close over the 6 weeks and hopefully will keep in contact
For socials, they were paid for. Lunch is a bit pricey but there are shops like sainsburys around which is cheaper
After 5.30 normally all collegues got to the bar for a drink which is nice. The socials especially had really nice atmospheres
We recieved lots of emails about activities we could get involved in
