  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • I really enjoyed my internship at Michael Page, it flew over and I was given a lot of responsibility from the start.

    • There is a great culture at Michael Page, and you are made to feel welcome from day one.

    • I was never lost for something to do on my internship.

    • I was given a lot of responsibility from the start and always given the option to take on more if I wished to.

    • All of the experience and skills developed at my placement will definitely help towards my career after I finish my studies.

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?

    • Even though I was in a smaller office where it was slightly quieter, the people I worked with were so much fun to be around and there was never a negative atmosphere.

    • Sophie who runs the internship recruitment is amazing and makes sure that everything goes smoothly start to finish.

    • We had 2 full days of training which were really beneficial.

    • We have a much better employment prospect with the company after completing the internship.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?

    • The social scene was great and everyone got on well.

    • It was really affordable.

    • There is a great nightlife in Newcastle and plenty of places to go out.

    • In the short time that I was at the company there were two social events.
