The Role
I really enjoyed my internship at Michael Page, it flew over and I was given a lot of responsibility from the start.
There is a great culture at Michael Page, and you are made to feel welcome from day one.
You are given continual support by your manager.
I was never lost for something to do on my internship.
I was given a lot of responsibility from the start and always given the option to take on more if I wished to.
All of the experience and skills developed at my placement will definitely help towards my career after I finish my studies.
The Company
Even though I was in a smaller office where it was slightly quieter, the people I worked with were so much fun to be around and there was never a negative atmosphere.
Sophie who runs the internship recruitment is amazing and makes sure that everything goes smoothly start to finish.
We had 2 full days of training which were really beneficial.
Company Parties/Events
We have a much better employment prospect with the company after completing the internship.
The Culture
The social scene was great and everyone got on well.
It was really affordable.
There is a great nightlife in Newcastle and plenty of places to go out.
In the short time that I was at the company there were two social events.
