The Role
good range of work. filled in for different teams and met a lot of useful contacts. well organised programme of presentations and networking drinks
worked on projects alongside my grad mentor so definitely felt like i was responsible for much of the work.
if i was unsure i did not feel reluctant to ask questions or clarify what i was being asked to do.
Ranged from multi-tasking to occasional quiet points - but these were rare
a lot, took on various responsibilities for a number of teams in the resi and commercial teams, and on important projects
improved my IT skills, especially excel, and given me insight into property databases and research that will help me in future placements in the industry
The Company
lots of fun, very informal. good balance of work and play
good balance of office work, site visits, walking tours around London, presentations and networking with senior staff.
HR keen to engage with interns on a personal level. All interns had a mid-placement appraisal and end of placement appraisal
Sports and Social Club
Company Parties/Events
hopefully strong!
The Culture
regularly socialised at lunch and after work and during a Savills organised social.
London will always be expensive!
lots of things going on and had the chance to go out for meals, clubs, bars and theatre
