The Role
I really enjoyed my internship, the knowledge I gained was invaluable and will help me through my studies.
I felt very valued, as they at times they even came to me for information and help.
I was given clear guidance and support. I was given clear instructions on tasks and felt like I could ask for help at any time if I needed it.
I was very busy from day 1. I was given intersting and meaningful tasks which is not often the case with most work experiences.
I believe 10/10 resposibilty is unlikey as at the end of the day I am not qulified, but I was given as much resposibilty as possible and I enojoyed the feeling.
The skills learnt will help me forever, but especially in finishing my degree. I was able to clearly see where I had gone wrong in my university work, and now feel able to accomplish all further work to a much higher standard.
The Company
It was always fun and a great atmosphere, which created a good and relaxed working environment.
It was very well set up. I was meeted and greeted on day 1. Shown around the office and where I would work. They also organised for me to go out with them on several site visits.
They showed me as much as possible and tryed to teach me as much as posible.
Company Parties/Events
I would obviuosly love to work for savills and felt I have made some good connections. I can only hope that I will be accepted on the graduate scheme
The Culture
There were no other students.
N/A
I imagine Oxford has a good nightlife but I did not part take as I was staying 30 minutes outside of Oxford.
There were opportunities but not that i could really get involved in as an intern, but as a member of staff I can see how many opportunities there are and how much fun it could be.
