The Role
It was much better than last year.
I felt there was good team synergy and that circulated around the office.
I didn't get much support other than at two or three F2F meetings with my LM however this was enough direction to allow me to get on and do my job.
Although things picked up in the end, I was left with very little to do in the first couple of weeks.
I was given quite a lot of responsibility which I feel helped me develop significantly.
That's a very cliché question (sorry), other than the general 'work experience ethic' not much from a role as specific as mine can be transferred and certainly not applied to an academic degree.
The Company
People were spread about the country making communication difficult sometimes, and the office was somewhat quiet.
I got what I asked for when I stated my preferences weeks before starting and everything has run smoothly inbetween.
Although not competitive pay in the 'real world', I was still on a fairly competitive salary and received support and dedication from not just my LM's but the wider Group during the placement.
Flexi Time
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Working from home
I'm very likely to work here dependent upon my referral however will be applying elsewhere also.
The Culture
There was hardly any social interraction between colleagues which I was quite surprised at, however I did know a couple of interns by the end who were quite sociable.
It was average.
Good city for nights out - although far from where I lived.
In terms of my spare time - yes. If this question applies to activities outside of work but within LBG - not really.
