The Role
I have thorooughly enjoyed my internship in the telephone banking area of Lloyds Banking Group. The work has been varied and I have recieved lots of support from my fellow colleagues.
I have felt very valued by my colleagues who have helped me to settle in and worked with my with the LBG intern charity challenge.
Support and Guidance has been brilliant. I couldn't have asked for any more.
I have been busy throughout. When I have needed to ask for more work it has been given to me straight away which is important.
I have been given ample responsibility. Due to the nature of the area there is a lot to learn in only ten weeks so for my skill set I have been given a significant amount of responsibility.
Team work, cooperation, auditing, working in a business environment are all skills I will take away with me.
The Company
My area with my team has been interesting however the other area is a call centre so I have had little contact with those colleagues througout my internship as they tend to stay on the telephone lines directly talking to customers.
Everything was set up for my arrival including my manager blocking her diary for the first week of the internship to train me for the role.
All colleagues particuarly those on site spent a long time working on my personal development throughout the internship.
