The Role
Buddy/mentor system and open floor plan - many people who can support and guide the interns
Sometimes extremely busy, and sometimes less so, though the summer period is generally quieter so I imagine the actual job will be more busy
Worked directly on live deals
The Company
Surprisingly relaxed atmosphere
Amazingly well organised, both in terms of social events and learning/training
Spent lots of time and effort making sure we were as well trained as possible, including a week of training at the beginning of the internship
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
Working from home
Healthcare from home
Very appealing for those who enjoy IBD - great company to work for but you have to enjoy the work
The Culture
Yes - very good
City of London is always going to be expensive, but you're earning enough so that you can enjoy it
Lots of bars and Shoreditch clubs very nearby
